Eyolf lay on the soft half rotten undergrowth, panting, each breath a rasping yelp. He struggled and bayed, but no one was there except a little brown mouse. Snap! but he needed real food, and he needed his strength, he lay there, blood streaming from him, his life ebbing away into the rotten leaves. He was listening. Intensely. There was something prowling about, but he didn't really care. He remembered an old pack legend that a terrifying beast lurked in these woods. He shivered.

A large light-gray and brown wolf watches you from a distance. He snaps his head to the side, his ears straight up. He prowls forward to you, watching warily around. He smells like a loner, not part of your pack. He sniffs you, and licks your blood. Silent, he prowls away into the undergrowth. Almost several hours later, he returns, his belly full and dragging a Muskrat. He pushes the Muskrat towards you, and sits watching you for quite almost 3 hours. When the moon comes up, he gets up and says to you "I know what the beast is around here. Horrible. But when the moonlight shines throughout the lands, he hides. You're safe. I'll come back and check on you if you're still gonna be here. My name's Kimo. Don't tell anyone about me." The wolf, now known as Kimo, gallops away to your territory's border.-Kimo

Eyolf looked up and whispered his thanks, but as he looked up the wolf was gone. He tore at the muskrat meat fitfully until his hunger was somewhat satisfied and he walked over to the others trail and sniffed gingerly "Kimo"...
Eyolf scented a sick deer and he went after it... two hours later he lay napping next to the half eaten stag, but he wanted to find a new pack, and maybe someone to share his hunts with.

Akira wanders into the Dark Forest. She had heard legends. She hadn't thought those legends had been comforting. She is hungry though, and tired. Snap! A tree branch cracks. The beast? Akira's heart pounds. But she can't leave. The tempting scent of fresh stag is in the air. Carefully making her way along, she follows the scent through the forest, listening and hoping.
